Having already enjoyed several co-ops with Sportworks Design, Kayleigh joined as a full-time employee in 2017. Since then, she’s worked on a variety of sports projects that include new football stadiums and tracks, softball and baseball fields, and tennis courts. Kayleigh’s experience includes concessions, plazas, and parking lot expansions to create a great atmosphere and experience for fans and athletes. She focuses on topographical and utility design, and earthwork calculations through the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D. Kayleigh is excited that she can combine her passion for sports with her education of civil engineering to launch a fulfilling sports design career.
Kayleigh is the current Vice-President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Cincinnati Professional Section. In this role, she plans monthly professional meetings focused on projects happening around the tri-state area. Kayleigh enjoys doing outreach to show students the pathways of engineering and how rewarding a career it can be. We are very excited to have Kayleigh’s leadership, drive, and desire to improve and grow inside and outside of the Company. Her strengths are proving to translate to the clients she works with ay Kleingers.
- What excites you about working on sport facility projects?
Most of my childhood memories involve sports in some way; sports gave me so much growing up. By designing sports facilities for different communities, I hope to give other athletes what sports has given me!
