Project Manager

Nick has been a civil engineering project manager for 20+ years (15 with The Kleingers Group). During this time, his focus has been on public, K-12, and higher education projects, including a variety of sports projects. Nick has extensive experience preparing contract bid documents and performing contract administration for municipalities and other public entities on a variety of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Of his many strengths is the ability to coordinate with project team members ensuring projects move forward in a unified direction. As an avid golfer, Nick will always meet the project deadline to enjoy a round of golf with you.

  1. What was your first job?
I had a paper route in my hometown of Kenton, OH.  I started that route in sixth grade and many of the customers were local businesses.  I really enjoyed seeing customers on a daily basis.
  2. Who had the most influence on you growing up?
I was most influenced by my uncle Mark.  He always provided good advice and suggested I pursue a career in Civil Engineering.  Before he gave me that advice, I’d never heard the words “civil engineer.”
  3. What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited?
Bandon Dunes, Oregon.  Best golfing experience ever.
  4. Which four individuals, living or dead, would you like to eat dinner with the most?
Michael Jordan, Bob Hope, Arnold Palmer.  We’d play 18 holes of golf at Cypress Point and have dinner after our round.  We’d invite Bing Crosby, who started the Crosby Clambake, to join us for dinner.  I would sit back and enjoy all the stories.
