Sportworks Design provided survey and civil engineering services for the Huron City School District for the remediation of the existing track. The project started with a track evaluation, where an assessment of the existing facility was completed. Based on the assessment, remediation options were developed for the existing track.
The renovation of the existing track included a 1-1/2-inch asphalt overlay, a new concrete pole vault and long jump field events, a new black vinyl-coated chain link fence, and additional drainage.
